New in GNOMI Pro: Onboarding that Sets Your Priorities from the Start
GNOMI Pro onboarding now asks three things before you see any coverage: Which topics you want followed, which countries and regions you want watched, and which publishers you trust. Your answers take effect immediately. They shape your first briefing rather than the one you get after two weeks of clicking.
What Each Input Controls
Topics set the industries, technologies, markets, and public issues to treat as high priority when GNOMI ranks what is happening, with more than 3,000 to choose from. Geography narrows monitoring to the countries that matter to your work, covering the 16 largest economies and more than 20 languages. Sources come from a library of more than 5,000 publishers, and your selections tell GNOMI which ones to weight when a dozen outlets report the same development, and which to reach for first when you ask a question.
Why We Ask You From the Beginning
Most personalization is inferred from behavior. The system observes what you open, builds a profile from it, and gradually limits what it shows you. That approach works well enough for entertainment, but poorly for professional intelligence, because what you click is not the same as what you are responsible for knowing. People read at length about subjects they find interesting and skim past subjects they cannot afford to miss. A behavioral model learns the first pattern and misses the second entirely.
Asking directly also removes the cold start. A system that infers your interests needs weeks of usage before it becomes useful, and you carry the cost of that learning period. Stating your priorities takes about five minutes and produces a working configuration on Day One.
Your selections propagate through the entire product. They determine which sources GNOMI draws from and which ones it cites when you ask a question.
Preferences That Stay Current
Priorities move. A market becomes relevant, a portfolio shifts, a region you ignored for years starts driving your quarter. Your onboarding selections are editable at any point, and changes apply to your next briefing rather than requiring the system to relearn anything.
This is the direction the product is heading more broadly. An intelligence agent should not only explain what happened. It should hold an accurate model of what you are working on and use that model to decide what deserves your attention.
Available now
The new onboarding is live for GNOMI Pro. New accounts see it on first sign-in. Existing Pro users can set or update their topics, regions, and sources from account settings.
